In this agreement, "South Ealing Local Cars," "we," or "us" refers to the service-providing company. "You" and "your" encompass any individual, business, or entity making a booking with us.
2.1 It is imperative that you allocate sufficient time for your journey to ensure punctuality, especially for airport transfers requiring timely check-in. We shall not be held responsible for delays resulting from insufficient time allocation or failure to be ready for collection at the designated time.
2.2 You are responsible for selecting a car of appropriate size for passengers and luggage. We do not guarantee transportation of excessive luggage, and please note that each child, irrespective of age, is considered a separate passenger.
2.3 Any requirement for wheelchair access must be communicated at the time of booking.
3.1 Our quotations are based on the information provided by you. Unless otherwise specified, all prices exclude VAT, if applicable, which will be charged separately. We reserve the right to adjust quotes in case of significant itinerary changes.
3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period post-landing and airport parking fees. Additional waiting time will be charged at our standard rate. While we endeavor to accommodate flight delays, we are not obligated to do so.
3.3 Upon accepting a quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to ensure its accuracy, as we cannot be held liable for delays or costs arising from incorrect information.
3.4 Payment for our services can be made via cash, credit card, or debit card.
4.1 You are accountable for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. Any damage to the vehicle caused by passengers may incur cleaning charges.
4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is strictly prohibited in the vehicle.
4.3 Children must be appropriately restrained according to their age, weight, and height.
4.4 We adhere to licensing and insurance regulations regarding passenger capacity.
5.1 If you need to cancel a booking, prompt notification is essential. Cancellation charges may apply if a vehicle has already been dispatched.
5.2 Cancellation charges may be applicable for online bookings canceled prior to dispatch.
6. Liability
6.1 While we strive for punctuality, we are not liable for losses resulting from delays beyond our control.
6.2 Your luggage is transported at your own risk.
6.3 In the event of a breakdown, we will endeavor to arrange alternative transportation promptly.
6.4 You agree not to hold us liable for any expenses, damages, or losses resulting from actions or omissions of individuals in your party.
6.5 Nothing in this agreement seeks to limit liability for personal injury, death, negligence, or fraudulent misrepresentation as per applicable laws.
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if the safety of our vehicle or driver is compromised. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.
8.1 We may subcontract our obligations under this agreement. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations without our consent.
8.2 We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions, with any changes being effective upon publication on our website. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates applicable at the time of booking.
8.3 We handle information following the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and South Ealing Local Cars.
8.5 No third party shall have enforceable rights under this agreement unless agreed upon in writing.
Any disputes or claims must be raised within 30 days from the booking pickup date. We are not obliged to address disputes raised beyond this timeframe.
